JPMorganChase is seeking a software engineer to advance your career by building secure, scalable applications with an emphasis on AI-assisted development and modern data platforms. You will contribute to end-to-end design, development, and troubleshooting across frontend and backend technologies, leveraging enterprise AI tools and robust testing practices.

Qualifikationen

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools with ability to evaluate AI outputs.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and resiliency expectations.
• Frontend: React or Angular with TypeScript.
• Backend: Python, Java, or Kotlin with REST or GraphQL.
• Data Engineering/Platform: Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Snowflake, and AWS.
• Platform engineering: containers, CI/CD, observability, and controlled release practices.
• Applied AI with LLMs: Claude Code, Agent, Skills, RAG, embeddings, prompt/config management, evaluation and guardrails.

Aufgaben

• Executes standard software solution design, development, and troubleshooting with limited guidance.
• Uses enterprise AI coding assist tools to improve code quality while peer review and automated testing.
• Designs and troubleshoots with consideration of upstream and downstream systems and implications.
• Hands-on development of data platform and full stack ownership.
• Promotes AI-first mindset in code using Claude Code and agent-driven automation.
• Develops AI skills and agents to support product capabilities and business value.
• Applies SDLC tools including AI-assisted development to improve automation value.
• Troubleshoots basic complexity problems in systems and code.
• Gathers and analyzes large data sets to support secure, stable development decisions.
• Learns system processes and methods for secure, stable code development.
