Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Software Engineer III in New Jersey to join an agile team focused on secure, scalable technology products for Asset & Wealth Management. You will design, develop, and deliver critical software across multiple domains, with emphasis on robust backend services and modern front-ends.

You will work with Java, React, SQL, and Spring, applying best practices in secure coding, testing, and DevOps.

Qualifications

Formal training or certification in software engineering with 3+ years of practical experience.
Experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Proficient in Java, React, SQL within a large corporate environment.

Responsibilities

Execute software solutions, including design, development, and debugging of complex problems.
Produce high-quality production code and secure, scalable algorithms.
Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure design constraints are met.
Analyze large data sets to drive improvements in software applications and systems.
Identify patterns in data to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
Contribute to engineering communities and explore emerging technologies.
Leverage enterprise AI coding assist tools to improve code quality and speed, with peer review.
