We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Operations Engineering team, supporting a suite of internal systems critical to the performance and reliability of our enterprise insurance platform. In this role, you’ll triage and debug customer-impacting issues, perform impact analysis, monitor system health, and remediate policy/order-related failures, while also building robust backend tools that help operations teams do the same at scale.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Support, Product, and Engineering to understand business pain points, provide feedback, and help drive improvements across the product and operational workflows.
Develop and maintain backend tools and services that support operational workflows, including issue triage, order/policy remediation, and improvements that reduce MTTD/MTTR.
Build internal dashboards, monitoring frameworks, and alerting systems to provide visibility into operational health and KPIs.
Demonstrated experience debugging production systems: reading logs/metrics/traces, isolating root cause, and implementing durable fixes.

3+ years of experience in backend software development using Node.js.
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (such as Lambda, Step Functions, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, etc.)
Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.
Experience building internal tools, automation scripts, and operational dashboards.
Understanding microservices, APIs, and backend architecture principles to design and develop effective internal tools and operational workflows.
