Job summary

Amazon Robotics is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join the Manipulation team. You will design, build, and operate distributed systems and ML data pipelines that scale across multiple workcells and warehouses.

You will collaborate with scientists and partner teams to translate research into production systems, deploying models and building the platforms that enable real-time scoring, monitoring, and fleet optimization at scale.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• Experience designing and building distributed systems or data-intensive applications.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle: design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate distributed systems at fleet scale.
• Collaborate with scientists and partner teams to translate research into production systems.
• Build high-throughput, event-based scoring services across warehouses.
• Develop model deployment infrastructure spanning edge devices and cloud services.
• Create monitoring and observability tools to surface root causes.
• Own systems end-to-end from design through production operations.
