HexArmor in Atlanta is seeking a Software Engineer II with Rails and React expertise to join our growing team. You will tackle complex tasks with limited supervision and deliver resilient software that drives business results while owning your work.

This role operates on a hybrid schedule in Atlanta, with occasional travel to Grand Rapids, MI every 6-8 weeks. You will design and implement full-stack features, collaborate with product, design, and other engineers, and apply security and quality

Qualifications

3+ years of software development experience.
Experience with Postgres/MySQL and REST APIs.
Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
Production debugging, monitoring, and support experience.
Experience with Agile, CI/CD, testing, and code reviews.

Responsibilities

Build, design, and evolve scalable full-stack services and APIs across frontend and backend.
Deliver end-to-end features with design, code, tests, and deployment.
Collaborate with product, design, and engineers to implement cross-domain solutions.
Improve code quality, reliability, and performance across the stack with best practices.
Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing to grow technical scope and impact.
Apply security best practices and regulatory standards in development.
