As a Software Engineer II – Platform, you'll enhance system reliability and performance in a distributed environment by integrating observability tools, implementing resiliency patterns in .NET applications, and collaborating across teams to ensure platform best practices. You will also optimize CI/CD pipelines and improve scalability and efficiency of containerized microservices in Kubernetes.

Interesting problems you’ll solve

• Integrate advanced logging, monitoring, and tracing frameworks for system insights and troubleshooting.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in .NET applications and implement resiliency patterns such as retries, circuit breakers, and fallbacks.
• Work with QA, security, architecture, and operations teams to ensure seamless feature integration and adherence to best practices.
• Design and refine automated pipelines for building, testing, and deploying .NET microservices.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of C# applications in containers managed by Kubernetes, optimizing for scalability and reliability.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional experience in backend software engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with C# or similar programming languages.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with cloud infrastructure tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.
• Experience with automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Skills in monitoring and performance tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
