$135,000.00 - $175,000.00

Role Overview

Etsy seeks a Software Engineer II for our APX engineering team. The focus will be on enhancing agent tooling and infrastructure to enable Etsy's Support Agents to deliver efficient, high-quality, and scalable support. Our goal is to boost agent efficiency and improve decision-making to ensure positive, consistent outcomes for our customers and the Etsy community.

The technology spans full-stack development, including user experience, API design, backend services, vendor integrations, and database design. The team collaborates across these areas based on business needs.

This full-time role reports to the Senior Engineering Manager, Customer Support and Services. Compensation includes salary, equity, annual bonus, and comprehensive benefits. Candidates in the United States, especially those near Etsy’s Brooklyn Office, will be prioritized. In-office attendance once or twice a week may be required depending on proximity.

Daily Responsibilities

• Contribute across the stack: front-end (HTML, CSS, JS), API design, backend (PHP, MySQL, BigQuery).
• Document technical design decisions.
• Participate in code and design reviews, maintaining high standards.
• Collaborate with analytics, product management, and design teams to build suitable solutions.
• Other tasks may be assigned or change over time at Etsy’s discretion.
