Chiron Technology Services, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer in the Annapolis Junction, MD area. You will analyze requirements, debug software, and contribute to design, development, and documentation, while leading development efforts across teams.

Strong emphasis on performance, process standards, and collaboration with system engineers. The role demands 7+ years of SWE experience and a BS in CS or related field, with a chance to substitute four years of experience for the degree.

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of SWE experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline required; four additional years may substitute for a degree.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add features.
• Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met.
• Oversee one or more software development teams and ensure work aligns with the chosen process.
