You’ll design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices within a high-availability environment, delivering features for merchants and partners. You’ll work with Product, Platform, Merchant Services and Support teams to translate business goals into robust technical solutions, using Agile practices like pair programming and TDD to maximize quality and velocity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science or related discipline or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant job experience in Java Software Engineering.
• Strong design, SQL and Java programming skills.
• Ability to translate business goals into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software for scalability, reliability, and data recovery for a high-volume platform.
• Collaborate with Product, Platform, Merchant Services and Support to translate requirements.
• Apply Agile practices including pair programming and TDD.
• Deploy new features with zero downtime and no impact to current users.
• Build domain expertise in e-commerce payments and create new features.
• Foster teamwork and clear communication within a high-collaboration culture.
