Job summary

GM Financial is seeking a Software Developer to join our Hybrid team in Irving, TX. You’ll work across data marketplaces, mobile and web apps, and API services, pushing cloud adoption and automation. Bring 2-4 years of software development experience and a degree in CS or related field.

Collaborate in Agile teams, contribute to automated tests, and help maintain production systems with a bias toward reliability, security, and rapid delivery. 2 days on-site, 3 days remote weekly.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years experience in software development required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field; and/or commensurate experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop product features for data marketplaces, mobile, web, and API services.
• Migrate product to the public cloud within the team as appropriate.
• Invest in learning and experimentation to expedite cloud implementations.
• Contribute to test automation and peer reviews to improve quality.
• Maintain production-first mindset with focus on scale and uptime.
