Job summary

GM Financial is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join an Agile Scrum team. You’ll contribute across React UI, middle-tier, back-end services, and Azure-based components, delivering features with a production-first mindset.

Ideal candidates have 2-4 years of software development experience, strong C#, and familiarity with Azure, SQL Server, and modern DevOps tooling. This role offers a flexible hybrid work environment with two in-office days weekly.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of software development experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related Engineering field; commensurate experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Contribute across all areas of development within an Agile Scrum team
• Develop features for React UI, middle-tier, back-end, and Azure-based services
• Support test automation and peer reviews to improve product quality
• Maintain production-first mindset for scale, uptime and rapid triage of issues
• Advance Agile practices to improve quality and delivery times
