Job summary

GM Financial’s Lead Software Engineer for CIAM, CPM, and AI & Automation drives secure cloud-native solutions using .NET, React, Kubernetes, Docker and modern APIs. You will mentor engineers, influence architecture, and partner with product teams to deliver scalable, compliant customer experiences.

The role emphasizes identity/security, AI integration with OpenAI and RAG, and strong collaboration across GM Financial’s technology towers. Hybrid work, visa sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• Hands-on development with .NET and ASP.NET Core backend services.
• Frontend and mobile development using React and React Native.
• Auth0 and modern CIAM patterns, including OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, MFA, and WebAuthn.
• Identity and authorization for agentic AI, including delegated access, service-to-service access, and secure agent workflows.
• Consent & Preference Management experience; Cassie experience preferred.
• Kubernetes and Docker-based cloud-native deployment.
• Lead Software Engineer | CIAM, CPM, and AI & Automation.
• CI/CD pipeline design, automated testing, and automated security controls.
• OpenAI and large language model application integration.
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation, vector-based retrieval, and grounding patterns.
• AI agent architecture, orchestration, observability, security, and governance.
• API security, production reliability, scalability, and zero-trust design principles.
• Technical leadership, architecture influence, cross-team collaboration, and engineering mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical teams to deliver secure, scalable customer-facing solutions.
• Mentor engineers and influence architectural decisions across domains.
• Collaborate with product management and solutions architects to maintain the agile backlog.
• Drive adoption of cloud-native patterns, Agile and DevOps practices.
• Invest in automated testing and CI/CD to speed deployments.
• Ensure production reliability, uptime, and rapid incident triage.
• Champion security, simplicity, and reusable software components.
• Provide SME guidance on core systems and support.
