Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is hiring Software Engineer II for remote work with teams across IAM and API. You’ll design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems, contribute to architecture, and mentor peers to improve product quality.

Work on Keycloak integration and high-performance API layers, with a focus on fast, reliable user experiences. Open to candidates in multiple regions, including Poland and beyond.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Solid understanding of software design principles and modern development practices.
• Fluency in Polish and English.
• Experience building production systems, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Willingness to learn Ruby and other languages as needed.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines and teams.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain reliable, performant software systems delivering real value.
• Take ownership of features from design through deployment.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate goals into technical solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and design sessions.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and implement robust fixes.
• Help shape standards for maintainability and performance.
• Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge.
• Explore emerging technologies including AI to boost productivity and product innovation.
