Job summary

RTX's Applied Signal Technology (AST) team in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Software Engineer with strong C++ in Linux and scripting experience. You will help develop SIGINT-focused software for U.S. government systems, collaborating in a dynamic, cross-disciplinary environment.

You will participate in architecture, design, integration, testing and field deployment while contributing to build and delivery of robust software. A proactive problem-solver mindset is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related STEM major obtained by start date.
• Experience developing in C++ in a Linux environment
• Experience with one or more scripting languages, Python, Linux script, bash
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to architecture, design, integration, test and field support of software applications.
• Work on build, test and delivery of software for advanced systems processing COMINT/ELINT data.
• Perform code review and testing to achieve long-range goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with product leads and cross-disciplinary teams on innovative solutions.
