Job summary

RTX in Salt Lake City is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support multiple programs in system development for national security. You will work with experienced researchers in R&D and deploy solutions for protection of the country.

You will collaborate within a team, generate briefings, and present material to team members, customers, and AST Management as needed. This onsite role requires TS/SCI with polygraph and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
• 5 years of practical experience in Systems Engineering including experience with design, development and testing of custom hardware and software systems of high complexity
• Experience interacting with development teams to resolve discrepancies and issues
• Experience identifying, analyzing and resolving problems in all phases of the system lifecycle
• Experience with Systems Integration, test execution, and test results documentation
• Experience problem solving and debugging
• Experience recognizing areas of improvement or customer needs and relaying them to senior staff as business development possibilities
• Experience working with customers, end users, hardware design teams, and software design teams
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Top Secret SCI (TS/SCI) security clearance with polygraph is required after start.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
