Job summary

D-Wave is seeking a backend software engineer to contribute to platform infrastructure, backend services, and internal tools that connect quantum hardware with operational applications in New Haven, CT. You will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to design, develop, and maintain software with a strong emphasis on software engineering fundamentals, testing, and scalable architectures.

Proficiency in Python and at least one compiled language is required.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in computer science, engineering, math, or physics.
• Proficiency in Python and at least one compiled language.
• Strong grasp of software engineering fundamentals, version control, and experience with scientific computing libraries.
