Job summary

You will bridge core software with physicists, enabling protocol design and seamless integration into the system software platform and quantum hardware. The role requires 5+ years of hands-on software development, strong debugging skills, Git proficiency, and a passion for collaboration.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in CS/EE/Math/Physics/Chemistry.
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Experience debugging with profilers/tools.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Use of software testing principles (unit, integration, end-to-end).
• Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, scientists, and engineers to translate requirements into technical specs.
• Architect and build efficient backend systems.
• Design and build tooling for calibration, protocol development, experimentation, and automation of quantum processor operations.
• Write clean, well-documented code and conduct thorough code reviews.
