Job summary

ProSync Technology Group seeks a Software Engineer to modernize a Spring Boot application processing terabytes of data weekly. You will containerize, deploy to Kubernetes, and enhance RESTful services with a MariaDB backend, while shaping architectural evolution and ensuring scalable Java solutions.

The role demands experience with Java, Angular, and database tooling, plus the ability to influence design decisions and contribute to high-impact platform modernization.

Qualifications

• Experience designing Java enterprise applications using Spring Boot or similar frameworks.
• Experience developing web applications with Angular or similar front-end frameworks.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MariaDB.
• Experience with container technologies (Docker/Podman) and Kubernetes deployment.
• Experience modernizing applications and evolving software architecture.
• Experience documenting technical designs and system details.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and contribute to technical design, modernization planning.
• Develop, test, debug, and maintain Spring Boot and Angular applications.
• Design, build, and maintain RESTful APIs and service integrations for high-volume data.
• Develop and optimize MariaDB queries and data access components; support Oracle/PostgreSQL as needed.
• Build software capable of processing terabytes of enterprise data weekly.
• Support containerization, Kubernetes deployment, and platform modernization.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
• Create and maintain tests; support GitLab CI/CD pipelines for CI/CD.
• Document technical designs in Confluence and manage work in Jira.
• Provide backup DBA support for Oracle/PostgreSQL/MariaDB; ensure continuity.
• Cross-train across tech areas to ensure resilient team operations.
