Job summary

ProSync seeks a Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems, including analytics, data processing, and real-time workflows. The role involves building Python applications, containerizing with Docker, deploying on Kubernetes, and creating Helm charts for automated deployments.

You will collaborate with DevSecOps to integrate into CI/CD pipelines, troubleshoot across environments, and produce clear documentation to support team success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related discipline and five years of software engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Python Application Development - Develop, test, and maintain Python applications supporting mission workflows and backend processing.
• Containerization & Docker - Build, optimize, and troubleshoot Docker-based containers used across development, testing, and production environments.
• Kubernetes Deployment - Deploy, manage, and support applications running in Kubernetes clusters, ensuring reliability and scalability.
• Helm Chart Development - Create, maintain, and update Helm charts to support automated Kubernetes deployments and configuration management.
• Cloud-Native Engineering - Apply cloud-native principles to improve application resilience, observability, and maintainability.
• CI/CD Collaboration - Work with DevSecOps teams to integrate Python applications and containerized services into automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshooting & Optimization - Diagnose issues across containerized environments, Kubernetes workloads, and Python applications.
• Documentation & Team Support.
