Job summary

ProSync is seeking a Software Engineer to modernize a Spring Boot application handling terabytes of data weekly. You will work on containerization, Kubernetes deployment, and RESTful API design within a collaborative team. The role emphasizes scalable Java applications and database optimization.

The ideal candidate has strong Java/Spring Boot experience, Angular front-end skills, and proficiency with MariaDB/Oracle/PostgreSQL, plus container tech like Docker or Podman and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Experience developing Java enterprise applications using Spring Boot or similar modern frameworks (Java stack).
• Experience developing web applications using Angular or similar front-end frameworks.
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with relational databases (MariaDB, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with container technologies (Docker or Podman).
• Experience deploying containerized apps in Kubernetes environments.
• Experience modernization and software architecture evolution.
• Experience creating and maintaining technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and contribute to technical design, modernization planning.
• Develop, test, and maintain Spring Boot & Angular applications.
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs and service integrations for high-volume data.
• Build and optimize MariaDB queries and data access components; support Oracle and PostgreSQL as needed.
• Develop software capable of processing terabytes of data weekly.
• Support containerization and Kubernetes deployment efforts.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and CI/CD practices.
• Create and maintain technical documentation in Confluence; manage work via Jira.
