Travelers is seeking a Software Engineer I to join our Technology team in Hartford, CT. You will contribute to end-to-end engineering tasks, from analysis and design to testing and health monitoring, across Elixir, Python and JavaScript/React codebases.

You should have a BS in computer science or related field and 2+ years of software development experience. The role emphasizes collaboration, learning, and leveraging AWS services to deliver robust software solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related STEM field, or its equivalent in education and/or work experience.
• 2+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience or willingness to learn Elixir.
• Comfort working across Elixir, Python, and JavaScript/React in a single product ecosystem.
