Job summary

Travelers is seeking a Software Engineer II to join ourTechnology organization. You will perform end-to-end engineering tasks for system assignments, from designing and developing to testing, debugging and health monitoring, aligning with user needs and system specifications.

You will lead initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and tackle complex defects, while expanding your technical knowledge and coordinating with teams to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related STEM field or equivalent.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis, design, development and configuration with high accuracy and speed.
• Lead projects, mentor junior team members.
• Resolve defects and incidents of advanced complexity and escalate as needed.
• Work independently on well-scoped problems and expand technical knowledge.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to others.
