Job summary

RTX's Indianapolis software team seeks engineers to design, develop, test, and integrate aerospace and defense software across Battle Management, C2, and sensors. You will join cross-disciplinary teams, apply agile methods, and contribute to complex systems.

Candidates should have a STEM degree, OO languages, data structures, and experience with AI tools; U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a DoD security clearance are required; relocation eligible; onsite role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or related technical field.
• Experience in designing and programming with C++, Java, or C#.
• Experience developing and debugging software using OO principles.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, memory management, and multithreading.
• Experience utilizing Generative AI tools or ML-enhanced workflows to accelerate delivery.
• Experience with open systems architecture (OSA) and modular design.
• Experience managing competing priorities and meeting milestones in dynamic environments.

Responsibilities
