AeroVironment is hiring a Software Engineer I (Applications) to join a fast-moving, collaborative Agile team. You will plan, design, develop and test software systems for enhancements and new products, including cloud-based tools. Entry-level role with mentorship and opportunity to contribute across the full stack.

You will write quality, modular code, participate in design reviews, and log progress in JIRA. Travel locally is possible; strong OO design and a willingness to learn are essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related discipline is required.
• 0–2 years of Windows or Linux application software development experience with OO design.
• Experience with C#, .Net, Java, C++, or Web UI and familiarity with SVN or Git.

Responsabilidades

• Work within a defined software life cycle development process.
• Support full life-cycle of product including design, coding, debugging, test, deployment and maintenance.
• Code, simulate, integrate, and validate software; write modular, reusable, and testable code.
• Participate in design reviews and deliver work on time per schedule and budget.
• Derive algorithm design from detailed software requirements and log work in JIRA.
• Follow the software development process under supervision; collaborate with multiple teams.
