Job summary

Garden Life Development is seeking a Software Engineer for a full-time temporary (W-2) assignment in North Carolina. The role offers flexible on-site, hybrid, or remote options based on the project, with pay ranging from $40.00 to $69.00 per hour and typical 40-hour weeks.

The engineer will design, develop, and test software, gather requirements with cross-functional teams, integrate with APIs and databases, and participate in reviews to uphold coding standards.

Qualifications

• Professional software engineering experience (see experience levels below).
• Proficiency in at least one of Java, Python, C#, C++, Go, or TypeScript.
• Cloud, container, and database experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test software applications and systems.
• Gather requirements and define technical specifications with cross-functional teams.
• Integrate with third-party APIs, databases, and cloud services.
• Debug issues and improve performance and security.
• Take part in code reviews and follow coding standards.
• Maintain automated tests and CI/CD pipelines.
• Help improve team development practices.
