Garden Life Development is seeking a Cloud Architect for a full-time temporary W-2 assignment in North Carolina, with on-site, hybrid, or remote options depending on the project. The role focuses on designing scalable, secure cloud architectures across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, plus creating roadmaps and best practices for cloud adoption.

You will evaluate technologies, guide migrations from on-premise to cloud, and define security, networking, and DR standards while mentoring teams and pushing

Qualifications

• Significant time architecting cloud solutions.
• Deep expertise in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• IaC and DevOps experience required.
• Ability to present designs to technical and executive audiences.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; degrees/certs verified.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure cloud architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Create and maintain cloud strategy, roadmaps, and best practices.
• Evaluate and select cloud technologies, platforms, and services.
• Lead planning for moving on-premises systems to the cloud.
• Define security, identity, networking, backup, and disaster recovery standards.
• Optimize cloud resources to control cost while maintaining performance.
• Guide and train developers and operations teams on cloud technologies.
• Drive adoption of serverless, AI integration, and multi-cloud capabilities.
