Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent
• 12 years of Software Engineering experience (10 years with MS)
• Experience with full-stack development across UI/UX, middleware/APIs, back-end, DevOps, or data science
• Experience leveraging AI agents for software development (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Pi)
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript/HTML/CSS
• Experience with Python scripting
• Experience with Angular or React
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL/SQLite
• Familiarity with GitLab and CI/CD workflows
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized development

Responsibilities

• Develop custom full-stack software solutions including analytic pipelines, web visualizations, and workflow automation tools
• Collaborate directly with customers to understand mission requirements and gather feedback
• Design intuitive user interfaces and workflows for analysts and operators
• Build data visualizations, automation, and workflow improvements

Your contributions are…

• Develop custom full-stack software solutions, including analytic pipelines, web-based visualizations, and workflow automation tools supporting mission operations
• Collaborate directly with customers to understand mission requirements, gather user feedback, and enhance existing corporate tools
• Design and develop reliable, intuitive user interfaces and workflows that improve how analysts and operators access and utilize information
• Build solutions for data visualization, task automation, and workflow improvements
• Integrate applications and services across diverse systems, teams, and technology stacks
• Work closely with the team lead, analysts, and developers to identify technical needs and deliver effective solutions
• Independently drive development projects and proposals, taking ownership throughout the software development lifecycle
• Support ongoing application maintenance, scripting, and technical documentation in a fast-paced, evolving mission environment

Requirements for your new career…

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline. (Additional 4 years of experience may substitute degree)
• 12 years of experience in Software Engineering (10 years with a M.S. degree)
• Experience with full-stack development across one or more areas, including UI/UX, middleware/APIs, back-end development, DevOps, or data science
• Experience leveraging AI agents for software development and research, such as Claude Code, Codex, or Pi
• Experience developing applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience writing scripts and services in Python
• Experience with UI frameworks such as Angular or React
• Familiarity with relational databases, including PostgreSQL or SQLite
• Familiarity with GitLab and CI/CD workflows
• Familiarity with Docker and containerized development

Salary range: $176,000 - $264,000
