Job summary

Amazon WorkSpaces enables you to provision virtual, cloud-based Microsoft Windows, Amazon Linux, or Ubuntu Linux desktops for your users, known as WorkSpaces. WorkSpaces eliminates the need to procure and deploy hardware or install complex software.

You can quickly add or remove users as your needs change. The End User Computing team at AWS is seeking passionate SDEs to grow their careers and tackle challenging problems in a secure, scalable, and highly available streaming platform.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non‑internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non‑internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems.
• Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
• 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
