Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Seattle is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer to own end-to-end features for the WorkSpaces cloud desktop and interactive streaming platform. You will write clean, scalable code and collaborate across AWS services to deliver secure, highly available infrastructure for enterprise and ISV customers.

As part of the team, you will work with senior engineers on system design, participate in code reviews, and help scale millions of concurrent desktops

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience.
• Experience programming with at least one programming language.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design and build features for our cloud desktop and interactive streaming platform — end to end.
• Write clean, maintainable code and optimize real-time streaming paths for latency and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with senior engineers on system design and architecture decisions.
