Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is hiring cross platform systems development engineers for the WorkSpaces Fleet.

You will build, maintain, and automate fleet services at massive scale, supporting Windows and Linux desktops for many users. You’ll use Python, PowerShell, Lambda, DynamoDB, CloudFormation and other AWS tools to reduce development friction, expand into new regions, and improve end-user compute experiences.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 1+ years of designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience.
• 7+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering experience.
• Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems).
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby.
• Experience debugging and systems analysis to identify and quickly resolve or mitigate issues.
• 5+ years of provisioning, migrating, and managing end user computing and related services experience.
