Job summary

Bearing Technology, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer (DevOps) in Maryland to facilitate infrastructure management, CI, and deployment environments.

The role requires security clearance-TS/SCI with a Fusion Poly and involves implementing compliance and security posture improvements across cloud and on-prem environments. The candidate will drive agile practices, support leaders in transitioning project teams, and coordinate cross-team integration while ensuring project objectives and enterprise

Qualifications

• Must have TS/SCI with FS Poly.
• At least one of the listed qualifications is required: Linux admin, Docker, Python, cloud experience, GitLab CI/CD, Ansible, NiFi, Elasticsearch.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies: standups, sprint planning, reviews
• Remove impediments to team productivity
• Coach team on Agile/Scrum practices
• Track and report team metrics (velocity, burndown, sprint health)
• Shield team from interruptions and scope creep
• Foster continuous improvement and self-organization
• Apply process and engineering methodologies to modernize processes
• Coordinate across project teams for enterprise-wide integration
• Track initiatives and epics to completion
• Define and maintain business processes to meet objectives
• Identify opportunities for process improvement
• Develop continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with customer and company standards
• Integrate new and existing business processes with customers and developers
• Apply best practices in process analysis, re-engineering, and change management
