Job summary

Onyx Point, LLC. is seeking a seasoned software engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance and Full Scope Polygraph to design and implement secure visualization tools for admins, security, and finance teams.

You will build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, develop full‑stack applications interfacing with AWS, and maintain scalable interfaces across hundreds of AWS accounts, advancing secure coding and cloud management capabilities.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph required.
• Minimum 12+ years of software development experience with at least one OO language (Java, Python, C++, Go).
• 5 years of experience with containerization (Docker) and 7 years with orchestration (Kubernetes).

Responsibilities

• Research, recommend, and implement visualization tools for administration, security, and finance teams.
• Build new and improved CI/CD pipelines for testing, building, and releasing software applications.
• Develop full stack web applications interfacing with AWS services managing numerous customer projects as a unified dashboard.
• Architect and maintain intuitive UIs for software that manages hundreds of AWS accounts and cloud tooling.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence with clean, maintainable code and modern web development practices.

• Build new and improved existing CI/CD pipelines for testing, building, and releasing software applications.
• Developed full stack web application interfacing with AWS services managing millions of dollars of customer projects as an all-in-one support dashboard.
• Architect and maintain intuitive user interfaces for software that manages hundreds of AWS accounts, directly improving our cloud management capabilities
• Foster a culture of technical excellence by writing clean, maintainable code and staying current with modern web development best practices.

Qualifications: Within the last one and a half (1.5) years, a minimum of nine (12+) years of experience programming with at least one (1) object oriented language, such as but not limited to Java, Python, C++ or Go, or nine (12+) years of experience building large platforms by integrating open source or commercial software together with automation scripting.
Demonstrated experience designing and developing applications in a Linux operating environment. 5 years functional experience with containerization technologies like Docker
7 years functional experience deploying applications to container orchestration technologies such as but not limited to Kubernetes
An additional two (2) years of experience may be substituted for all minimum requires listed above with an active Certified Kubernetes Application Developer status. This may be stacked with active CKA status.
An additional two (2) years of experience may be substituted for all minimum requires listed above with an active Certified Kubernetes Administrator status. This may be stacked with active CKA status.
An additional one (1) year of experience may be substituted for all minimum requires listed above with a status of an Open Source project maintainer in open industry.
Compensation: We are committed to providing fair and competitive compensation. The salary range for this position is $78,000 to $250,000 per year. This range reflects the compensation offered across the locations where we hire.
