Job summary

Seamless Migration LLC in Chantilly, VA is seeking a career and customer-oriented Full Stack Developer to join our agile software team supporting a ServiceNow implementation and related initiatives. You will work on front-end and back-end components using React/Angular/Vue on the front end and Node.js, Python, or Java on the back end, with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD practices.

Five or more years of relevant software development experience, including front-end and back-end work.
Experience with modern web frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js) and server-side languages (Node.js, Python, Java).
Experience with AWS, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD practices.
Strong SQL/NoSQL database skills (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Active TS/SCI clearance with CI poly is required to start.
Experience in Agile environments and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Support and enhance a modern, fast-paced agile software development team supporting a ServiceNow implementation.
Develop front-end and back-end solutions that are scalable and robust.

Contribute as part of a scrum team to feature design, automation, testing, and deployments.
Design, test, deploy, and maintain product baselines using Agile, DevOps, and Continuous Delivery best practices.
Ensure integration between core technologies to enable data flow and scalability.
Support customer meetings, propose designs and negotiate acceptance criteria.
Create documentation for design, architecture, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Troubleshoot issues and resolve incidents as needed.

Overview

Support and enhance a modern, fast-paced agile software development team supporting a ServiceNow implementation.
Play a critical role in supporting and enhancing a diverse environment to drive innovation and efficiency.
Develop seamless, scalable, and robust front-end and back-end solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain deliverables that meet the evolving needs of the organization.
Contribute as part of a scrum team to feature design and development, automation, testing, and deployments.
Design, develop, test, integrate, deploy, and maintain product baselines utilizing Agile, DevOps, and Continuous Delivery best practices.
Leverage broad knowledge across various technologies to deliver and maintain product increments across different security domains.
Collaborate closely with development and engineering teammates, as well as stakeholders, to deploy solutions and advanced concepts.
Ensure integration between core technologies to enable seamless data flow, scalability, and functionality.
Support technical meetings with customers and stakeholders, proposing designs and negotiating acceptance criteria.
Create documentation to support the Agile life cycle, including design, architecture, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Perform troubleshooting efforts and resolve incidents as needed.

Qualifications

Five or more years of relevant experience (or seven or more years without a related degree).
Experience working with Linux Operating Systems.
Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
Proficiency in back-end technologies including Node.js, Python, Java, or similar languages.
Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
Experience with configuration management processes such as Git.
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
Experience with Amazon Web Services and containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.
Current Security+, CASP, or CISSP Certification.
Experience developing analysis of alternatives, process improvement documents, design documentation, and presentations to brief results and recommendations.
Experience coordinating integration projects with multiple teams.
Ability to start, develop, and complete both short-term and long-term projects.
Accuracy and thoroughness in review, analysis, design, and recommendations for project improvements.

Nice To Have

Experience with ServiceNow development and administration, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, CMDB, and CI Discovery.
Ability to utilize scripting languages to accelerate deployments.
Experience deploying, maintaining, and optimizing PostgreSQL databases.
Experience with identity management, access, and authorization solutions such as PKI, LDAP, and SAML.
Experience working with REST APIs, microservices, containers, and other architectural styles.
Experience with Continuous Delivery, Infrastructure as Code, and Behavior or Test Driven Development.
Experience with Agile development practices, including Agile Scrum methodology.
Knowledge of Intelligence Community (IC) processes, policies, and guidance.
Understanding of network technologies.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices.
