Power3 Solutions seeks a Mid-Level DevOps Software Engineer in Hanover, MD to join the ICAM team. You will build, maintain, and improve infrastructure, deployment processes, and tooling enabling development teams to deliver reliable software efficiently.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Helm, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, Elasticsearch, and monitoring; you will collaborate with engineers and security teams while owning DevOps initiatives end-to-end.

Qualifications

• We are seeking hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm, CI/CD, infra as code, Elasticsearch, containerization, monitoring, and automation.
• Collaborate with system and software engineers and security teams; own DevOps initiatives from implementation to prod support.
• Experience with PKI and certificate-based authentication, REST APIs, and service-based architecture.

Responsibilities

• Kubernetes & Platform Engineering; manage cluster lifecycle and scale
• Develop and maintain Helm charts for deployments and config
• Integrate GitOps with CI/CD pipelines
• Infrastructure-as-Code using Ansible; automation focus
• Ensure high availability across multiple service centers and AZs
• Manage Elasticsearch clusters, Logstash, Kibana for data ingest and performance
• Support systems using MongoDB; collaborate with teams; lead technical discussions
• Prepare program review materials; coordinate with Jira and Confluence

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level DevOps Engineerto join our ICAM team. In this role, the candidate will help build, maintain, and improve the infrastructure, deployment processes, and tooling that enable our development teams to deliver reliable software efficiently.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code,Elasticsearch, containerization, monitoring, and automation. You should be comfortable working collaboratively with system and software engineers and security teams while taking ownership of DevOps initiatives from implementation through production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Kubernetes & Platform Engineering

• Experience with Kubernetes cluster lifecycle management.

• Experience developing and maintaining Helm charts for application deployment and configuration.

• Experience with GitOps tools and CI/CD pipeline integration

• Infrastructure-as-Code and automation experience utilizing Ansible.

• Understanding scalability and high-availability strategies with deployments across multiple service centers (e.g., availability zones).

• Systems, Software, and Integration

• Experience with PKI and certificate-based authentication.

• Familiarity with REST APIs and service-based architecture.

• Experience managing Elasticsearch clusters, Logstash pipelines, and Kibana dashboards, focusing on cluster performance and data ingestion.

• Experience supporting systems using MongoDB.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience collaborating with software developers, test engineers, and system administrators.

• Ability to lead technical discussions and brief technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience developing program review materials.

• Experience using JIRA and Confluence.

Requires:

• Security Clearance: TS/SCI with MD polygraph

• 10years systemengineering experience

• Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. 5 years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree for a total of 15 years.
