Job summary

Tive is seeking an ambitious Software Engineer Co-op to work on a broad set of software tasks and help build a large-scale data processing and analytics system for shipments in supply chain management.

You will collaborate with engineers across the stack, contribute to features, tests, and documentation, and engage in agile ceremonies while learning best practices in software development.

Qualifications

• Strong desire to learn and collaborate with the team.
• Abstraction and design skills with data modeling.
• Proficiency in C# and Python for server-side work.
• Experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes in development.
• Experience with AWS hosting and DevOps practices.
• Agile/Scrum methodologies and teamwork across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in an agile scrum team to design, develop, and implement features.
• Write clean, maintainable code under guidance of senior engineers and participate in reviews.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve defects in a timely manner.
• Create unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.
• Support documentation for features, designs, and implementation details.
