Job summary

AutoStore is seeking a Software Engineering Co-op in Atlanta for a 4–6 month program. You will contribute to building reliable software for warehouse automation, work with APIs, telemetry, and cloud technologies, and gain hands-on experience alongside experienced engineers.

During the program, you will participate in Agile ceremonies, document designs and testing results, and apply software engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Eligible to participate in a 4–6 month full-time co-op program.
• Completed coursework in data structures, algorithms, OOP, or related topics.
• Experience with at least one language (TypeScript, C#, Java, Python, C++, or similar).
• Familiarity with Git and basic debugging techniques.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Must not require visa support to work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, testing, and maintenance of software applications and services.
• Write clean, well-documented code under guidance of experienced engineers.
• Participate in code reviews and apply feedback.
• Support development and enhancement of APIs and system integrations.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues.
• Contribute to telemetry, monitoring, and observability initiatives.
