Transamerica’s Enterprise Technology team seeks an Intermediate Software Engineer to build and support web and cloud applications using Python and .NET/C# in a collaborative, agile setting.

You will work with API integration, AWS services, and modern tooling. A BS degree and 1+ year of software development are required, with familiarity in Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD preferred. Hybrid work in Philadelphia and related travel as needed.

Qualifications

• BS in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 1+ year of professional software development using Python, .NET/C# or similar.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS) and API-based integration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development staff and product owners in an agile environment.
• Design and analyze deliverables and contribute to architecture.
• Develop and support Python/.NET-based applications and APIs.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployments.
• Troubleshoot and optimize production systems and data flows.
• Keep up-to-date with new technologies to improve solutions.
