Job summary

Transamerica is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and support enterprise application solutions that meet business needs. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and architects to deliver scalable, secure software while mentoring other engineers.

This hybrid role requires three days in the office per week at our Denver, CO hub, with opportunities to leverage cloud technologies and modern development practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 3 years of software development experience.
• Experience with APIs, service-oriented architectures and system integrations.
• Experience with cloud technologies and modern development platforms.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain software applications and services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, architects, and development teams in an agile environment.
• Participate in technical analysis, solution design, and architecture discussions.
• Contribute to design reviews and advise on complex technical challenges.
• Develop and support integrations, APIs, and distributed architectures.
