Job summary

Transamerica Corporation is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in a hybrid role with three days in office per week across Cedar Rapids, IA; Denver, CO; and Philadelphia, PA. The position offers a salary range of $110,000–$120,000 per year with annual bonus potential.

You will design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications, collaborating across teams to deliver scalable and secure software solutions. Eligible for comprehensive benefits and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/Engineering or equivalent.
3 years of software development experience.
Strong object-oriented design and architecture understanding.
Experience with APIs, service-oriented architectures, and system integrations.
Experience with cloud technologies and modern development platforms.
Familiarity with source control, automated testing, deployment automation, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain software applications and services.
Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and offshore teams in an agile environment.
Contribute to design reviews and provide recommendations for complex technical challenges.
Develop and support integrations and distributed architectures.
Support production applications and participate in problem resolution.
