Job summary

IntelePeer is seeking a Software Engineer to develop, maintain, and support customer-facing systems with a focus on scalable solutions. The role can be based in Denver, CO or Dania Beach, FL and involves working with development teams to deliver high-value software in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with Product, Operations, and Finance, contribute to design reviews, and proactively identify solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics or related field.
1–2 years experience with MySQL or other relational database technologies (proficient in SQL).
Proficiency in Python, PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.
Shell scripting and REST principles.
NoSQL knowledge is a plus; Linux troubleshooting a plus.
Familiarity with unit tests and testing frameworks a plus.
Agile methodologies or SDL; security-minded coding practices.
Understanding of CI/CD practices and version control with Git.

Responsibilities

Develop code, scripts, extracts, and artifacts to solve complex technical issues.
Contribute to design documents and participate in design reviews.
Be proactive and inquisitive in finding solutions.
Collaborate with Product, Operations and Finance to troubleshoot software issues.
Determine severity and impact of issues and communicate status to management.
Work independently and with a team of developers.
Provide on-demand support and adapt to changing hours.
