Highmark Health is seeking an experienced software engineer to join an agile, enterprise-scale team building scalable applications across digital channels. You will contribute to architectural decisions, implement solutions using modern tech stacks, and ensure performance and scalability.
The role involves designing specifications, writing quality code, participating in Scrum ceremonies, and shaping stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Competenze
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or related field.
- 1 year of design/analysis of algorithms, data structures and design patterns.
- Experience with at least two web techs (React/Angular/NodeJS/HTML5/CSS).
- Proficiency in REST/JSON web services and modern programming languages.
Mansioni
- Design and create engineering specifications for software applications and programs.
- Write code adhering to standards; perform code reviews.
- Participate in all scrum ceremonies and sprint planning within an agile team.
- Assist in story creation with DoD, acceptance criteria and estimation.
- Monitor progress and report issues to senior developers/principals.
