Highmark Health is seeking a senior software engineer to join an agile team responsible for building scalable applications across digital channels. The role provides an enterprise view of solutions and technical execution to support product roadmaps.

A lead engineer will guide other developers and drive architecture-forward initiatives to meet business needs and future growth. The position emphasizes designing specifications, coding to standards, participating in Scrum ceremonies, and mentoring

Qualifikationen

7 years of proficiency in design and analysis of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns for scalable systems.

Aufgaben

Design and create engineering specifications for software applications.
Write code adhering to standards and perform code reviews.
Explore and implement technical solutions to achieve product features while ensuring scalability and performance.
Participate in all Scrum ceremonies and assist in sprint planning and execution.
Create and manage stories and tasks in RTC or Jira; communicate blockers to the Scrum Master.
Collaborate with principal engineers to design and implement complex solutions.
Mentor other software engineers as needed.
Undertake other duties as assigned.
