Job summary

Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) seeks a Software Engineer to design, implement, test, and deploy software across dynamic, fast-paced environments. You will interact with users to gather requirements and work with a team to turn research into mature product solutions.

In the Threat Analytic Systems (QAI) Group you will lead design reviews, document work, and explore innovative ways to improve task efficiency while collaborating across organizational boundaries.

Qualifications

• BS in CS/CE with at least 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong experience with Java or Python.
• Web development with Vue.js, ReactJS, or Angular.
• Experience with Docker and containerized tools.
• Familiar with relational and non-relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, CouchDB, HBase).
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
• Must be able to obtain TS/SCI clearance; US citizenship required.
