Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems—Missile Defense Integration in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Software Engineer (BM/SRM) to develop Java applications supporting Battle Management Sensor Resource Management. The role requires a current Secret clearance and on-site work with no remote option.

The candidate will work on the C2BMC program, contributing to software development, system analysis, and technical support within a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Current security clearance and IAT or relevant certifications on resume.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related field with 2 years experience; or Master with 0 years; or 6 years experience as alternative.
• Active Secret clearance required to start.
• Experience in object-oriented software development with knowledge of search and sort algorithms and data structures.
• Strong OO programming knowledge in Java, C#, C++, Python desired.
• Familiarity with coding standards and configuration management; strong unit testing and addressing SonarQube issues before merge.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java software for the BM/SRM regional applications team in Huntsville, AL.
• Provide updates across multiple systems and software disciplines and advise customers.
• Analyze and support systems software including design, development, testing, deployment, and user support.
