Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems—Missile Defense Integration seeks a Software Engineer (BM/SRM) to join the Regional Applications team in Huntsville, AL. You will develop and support Java-based software for critical battle management applications on-site with no remote options.

Required are a Secret clearance and experience in OO languages (Java/C#/C++), plus strong problem-solving and teamwork. Eligible for competitive benefits and a comprehensive salary range.

Qualifications

• Current, active Government-issued Secret clearance required at time of application.
• Experience in object-oriented software development with knowledge of search and sort algorithms and data structures.
• Proficiency in Java, C#, C++, or other OO languages; Python is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Develop software in Java for the BM/SRM Regional Applications team in Huntsville, AL.
• Provide technical support for systems software products, including problem resolution, design, development, testing, and operational integration.
• Create and execute unit tests and address SonarQube issues before merging code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable mission-critical software.
