Job summary

MANTECH is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team in Fort Meade, MD. You will design, develop, and maintain complex software systems, ensuring all functional and performance requirements are met.

Responsibilities include designing features, analyzing requirements, and implementing algorithms. Proficiency in Python backend development and experience with cloud environments are preferred; active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency with backend software development using Python.

Responsibilities

• Designing and coding new software or modifying existing software to add new features and functionality.
• Analyzing user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements while debugging existing software to correct defects.
• Developing and implementing algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards.
• Integrating existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments.
• Developing software solutions by analyzing system performance standards and conferring with users or system engineers.
• Writing or reviewing software and system documentation to ensure process standards are met.
