Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Software Development Manager for Benefits Experience & Technology (BXT). You will lead architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and drive AI-powered, secure integrations across HR systems.

Partner with product teams to translate complex requirements into scalable technical solutions and guide cross-team initiatives to deliver impact. As a leader, you will influence design choices, ensure operational excellence, and work with senior engineers to align the 3-year architecture

Qualifications

Experience in leading engineering teams.
Experience in engineering, including multi-tier web services.
Experience partnering with product and program management teams.

Responsibilities

Lead architectural design and development of critical platform features.
Mentor junior engineers and establish coding standards and best practices.
Architect and implement AI-powered solutions leveraging AWS services.
Design robust integration patterns between HR systems with security/compliance.
Partner with product and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into technical solutions.
Lead cross-team technical initiatives and drive architectural decisions.
Champion operational excellence through monitoring and reliability improvements.
Mentor SDE-Is and collaborate with SDMs and PMs to deliver goals.
