Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Software Engineer III to join the Consumer and Community Banking Deposit 2.0 team. You will be a seasoned member of an agile team, designing and delivering trusted, secure, scalable technology products across multiple business functions.

You will produce architecture artifacts, analyze data, and drive continuous improvement in software applications while leveraging enterprise AI tools to accelerate development and ensure quality and security.

Qualifications

Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of experience.
Experience in system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
Experience coding in a large corporate environment with modern languages and database querying.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools and evaluating AI outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
Understanding of responsible AI use and secure handling of data.
Knowledge of SDLC, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.

Responsibilities

Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with non-routine approaches.
Produces secure, high-quality production code and maintains critical algorithms.
Uses enterprise AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, speed, and productivity, with peer reviews and testing.
Applies SDLC tools and AI-assisted development to enhance automation value.
Gathers and analyzes large data sets to visualize and continuously improve software.
Identifies hidden data patterns to drive improvements in code hygiene and architecture.
