Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Software Engineer for the EAA Compliance CXAE team. You will build AI-first applications, own full-stack delivery across Golang and React, and ship third-party integrations to streamline compliance workflows for millions of Coinbase customers.

Collaborate with product, design, security, and data teams to deliver cross-functional solutions. Build scalable services on AWS/Kubernetes and mentor peers to raise quality while using generative AI responsibly.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience building web apps.
• Backend language: Golang / Python / Java, and frontend framework: React / Angular / Vue.
• Cloud infra experience (AWS / GCP / Azure) and containerized deployment (Kubernetes / Docker).
• Experience with distributed systems concepts such as caching / event-driven architectures / APIs.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to mixed audiences; AI used responsibly.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development of user-facing features on the compliance agent platform.
• Lead assessment and integration of third-party tools and vendor integrations.
• Collaborate with product, design, security, and data teams on cross-functional solutions.
• Build scalable services with AWS and Kubernetes, including caching and observability.
• Mentor engineers on design patterns, coding standards, testing, and deployment.
