Job summary

Coinbase is seeking a Software Engineer for the EAA Compliance CXAE team in Charlotte, NC. You will own end-to-end development of customer-facing features on the compliance agent platform using Golang, React, and cloud technologies, with focus on scaling and reliability.

You will collaborate with product, design, security, and data teams to deliver cross-functional solutions for complex CX and compliance problems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience building web applications with at least one modern backend language (Golang, Python, Java, or similar) and a frontend framework (React, Angular, Vue, or similar).
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized deployment environments (Kubernetes, Docker, or similar).
• Experience with distributed systems concepts such as caching, event-driven architectures, or API integrations.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development of user-facing features across the compliance agent platform using Golang, React, and cloud technologies, from design through production deployment.
• Lead assessment, selection, and implementation of third-party tools and vendor integrations that extend platform capabilities and accelerate delivery.
• Partner with product, design, security, and data teams to deliver cross-functional solutions to complex compliance and CX problems.
• Build and maintain scalable, high-traffic services leveraging event-driven architectures, caching, load balancing, and observability tooling across AWS and Kubernetes.
• Mentor engineers on design patterns, coding standards, testing strategies, and deployment best practices to raise the overall quality bar for the team.
